berlinblur

october two thousand and eight, berlin, germany.. i was lucky enough to see the city and the country from a natives perspective. berlin, the german city best known for its wall that divided east and west, is saturated with culture, especially those of the artistic meridians. museums full of world recognised paintings to mind boggling street art, ancient war relic building to cutting edge architecture, classical orchestras to underground word of mouth electronica clubs pumping unheard genres of music until the late hours of the afternoon, thats right theres no strict hours of club closure let alone curfew, making creature watching a popular activity sunday afternoon if you arnt a victim yourself. thanks to the tamir and his mates for fitting so much of this amazing grungey city into the time i had there, and to boris (pictured with me in front of his dewish coffee shop), the 55 year old godfather of my german friend tamir, who took his young gf to ibiza so we could inhabit his city centre studio apartment while we blurrred through berlin, danke shon und auf wiedersehen
